Use Solar Lights In Your Campsite

Most of us know low level solar lighting is a great landscaping tool because lighting can be placed just about anywhere without having to consider if there is electrical access. But have you considered taking solar lighting with you when you go camping?

When I camp at a site right next to a bathroom, I can pretty much count on there being a “unplanned” path from my site to the bathroom that has been worn down by the many people who walked it before me. It’s a perfect place to stick in some solar lights to light that path at night to prevent tripping and falling.

Another example of a good use of solar lighting is when camping in a campsite that has a steep drop-off at the edge. Place solar lights along that side of the site as a reminder to not go any closer to the edge than the lights.

And, my favorite reason for using solar lighting - it’s pretty!

Here’s pictures of some of my favorites. Clicking on the picture will take you to the website for purchasing them if you would like, but they’re not affiliate links. I don’t make any money on the sale if you decide to buy them. I just put the pictures here to give you some idea of the choices available and ones that I think have a “camping” feel to them.
