Pudgie Pie Maker (Pie Iron) Cheesy Garlic Bread Recipe
If you’re hungry for warm, gooey, garlic cheese bread while camping, you don’t have to hike, bike, or walk to the nearest pizza place. You can make it yourself and enjoy it when it’s at its freshest, warmest, and gooiest.
PUDGIE PIE CHEESY GARLIC BREAD
Ingredients:
Bread (plain ole white bread is the easiest but you can substitute french bread if you like - just put enough bread on each side of the pudgie pie maker to fill it so the cheese doesn’t leak out and burn)
softened butter
garlic salt
shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
Butter one side of two slices of bread (or however many you need to fill two sides of a pudgie pie maker). Sprinkle the buttered side with garlic salt.
Place the buttered side down into one side of the pie iron.
Top with the shredded cheese.
Top with the other slice(s) of bread.
Close the pie iron.
Cook over hot coals or glowing campfire wood, but keep in a cooler part of the fire so the bread doesn’t burn before hte cheese melts.
When the bread is toasted golden brown on both sides, remove from the pie iron and enjoy it’s cheesy goodness.
