KOA campgrounds accross the United States are having their annual free night of camping on Saturday May 10, 2008.

The catch is, in order to get the free night of camping you have to stay as a paid guest the night before (Friday, May 9, 2008).

The free camping night is KOA’s fundraiser for their KOA Care Camps for children with cancer. There are 35 KOA Care Camps located throughout the United States. They offer childen with cancer and their siblings the opportunity to experience a fun summer camping outing while continuing their medical treatments.

Campers who register for this special weekend called “Come Camp & Care With Us Weekend” will be entered in a drawing for two grand prize camping packages from KOA that include a week of free camping at any KOA campground and a package of camping supplies.

The free night of camping event raised over $225,000 in 2007.
