I signed up for Google Alerts a few months ago so that instead of surfing the Internet every day to see if there are any new or interesting stories about camping and camping products, I get daily emails. A lot of it is garbage but a blog post I read this morning put me in a good mood.

It is one Mom’s account of a recent camping trip with 4, eleven year old children. The pictures that accompany her blog post are great. I think I like them so much because it looked warm and sunny where she camped versus the 30 degree temps and snow on the ground where I live.

It’s pretty entertaining. I laughed at the picture of her kids “loving on each other” while watching a sunset when actually one of the kids is biting the other on the arm. And I also got a kick out of her story about “Stalker Steve.”
