News station around the United States are reporting that a tornado has tore through Little Sioux Scout Ranch, a Boy Scout Camp in western Iowa about 7 pm central time Wednesday night, killing at least four Boy Scouts, with others still trapped.

Emergency officials are on the scene.

According to Fox News, the Associated Press is reporting that the scouts at the camp are from 13 to 18 years old.

Julie Tack, spokesperson for Iowa Homeland Security said a search and rescue team has been deployed to the camp which is covered with debris and downed trees.

Aril Hsbrouck, spokesperson for the Boy Scouts said there were about 100 youths at the camp for a weeklong leadership training program that had begun on Sunday.

My heart goes out to the scouts, leaders, staff at the campground, and their families. Please join me in praying for the safety and well being of the remaining campers at the camp as well as the families who have lost a loved one.
