I’m a 1970’s girl so the 1973 commercial below for the Winnebago spring rally brings back memories. I probably saw the commercial on television back then when I was practically glued to it because I didn’t want to miss my favorite shows such which included The Brady Bunch, The Waltons, Happy Days, The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Partridge Family.

The commercial has an Old West feel to it with the RV’s in a circle formation similar to how wagons on the trail would create a circle around a campfire at night and with motor home model names like the “Brave,” “Indian” and “Chieftan.”

Some of those models are likely still on the road today.
